It’s almost tax day, and for many of you that means heads down, full focus on completing those returns that were submitted last minute. No real surprise there, since 20-25% of Americans wait until the last two weeks to file, myself included (apparently being a CPA doesn’t make you any less prone to procrastinate on your taxes).
Due to the impending tax deadline, we’ve chosen not to release a new post today. Instead, I’ve highlighted a few of our most popular (and my favorite) posts over the past five months. Here they are, in no particular order:
Tax Season in Data Series: Insights into the 2019 tax season; 1040, 1165, and 1120-C completion, in progress, and not started national averages for the 2018 and 2019 tax seasons.
Insights on Work from Home: As a CPA firm partner and owner, there’s not enough time in the day for you to do everything—especially things in which you have no expertise.
Coaching during COVID Series: Right now, the people you coach need leadership, assistance, and support. As their coach, you can provide them with those things.
Communication is Critical in the COVID-19 Landscape: Honest, open, and authentic communication is key under normal circumstances, let alone during a global pandemic when many of your customers and clients feel stuck in crisis containment.
Managing a Remote Workforce: Recent events have pushed remote work into the spotlight, with many managers unprepared for the sudden change. XCM has put together productivity tips from our distributed workforce to help you manage your remote workforce.
Kill the Meetings – Strategies to Increase Capacity: What would you do with an hour back every day? What about 30 minutes? The average executive spends 60 hours every month in meetings they consider unproductive. How do you get that time back?
We’ll be back on 07/16 with a great post on combatting burnout and inspiring our most valuable asset - people.
Until then, stay safe, healthy, and productive!
